Looking for the full BDE course and certificate? He teaches at an MTO-approved driving school and can arrange your enrolment there — mention it when you book.

Why Zaffar Khan

One instructor. Every lesson. That's the difference.

Big driving schools rotate you between whoever's free that day, so you start over explaining yourself each time. Here you learn with Zaffar every single lesson — he remembers exactly what you struggled with last week and picks up right there.

You also get the full hour, every hour. No cutting the lesson short, no counting the drive to your door as teaching time. If you booked sixty minutes, you get sixty minutes behind the wheel.

And you learn by actually driving. He'll explain what you're about to do, then get you out on real roads doing it — not sitting in a parked car working through theory. It's the fastest way to build the instincts a road test is looking for. Every lesson is in a fully insured dual-control car, so you're safe from the very first one.

Common questions

Do you provide a car for my road test? +

Yes. Our road-test package includes use of our dual-control car for your official G2 or G test, plus a warm-up drive beforehand and drop-off at the test centre.

Are you a licensed instructor? +

Yes — lessons are with an MTO-licensed driving instructor, licensed by the Ministry of Transportation to provide in-car instruction. He also teaches at an MTO-approved driving school.

Can I get a BDE certificate? +

Not through private lessons on their own — but yes, he can arrange it. The BDE (Beginner Driver Education) certificate, which shortens the G1 waiting period from 12 months to 8 and qualifies you for an insurance discount, can only be issued by an MTO-approved driving school. He teaches at one, so if you want the full BDE course he can get you enrolled there and be your in-car instructor. You'd pay the school directly for the course. Just ask when you book.

What's the difference between private lessons and the BDE course? +

Private lessons are flexible one-on-one hours — ideal for building confidence, preparing for a road test, or refreshing skills, with no minimum commitment. The BDE course is a structured program with classroom hours plus in-car training, and it comes with the certificate that shortens your G1 wait and earns an insurance discount. If you're a brand-new G1 holder with time to wait, BDE is usually worth it. If you need practical driving hours quickly, private lessons are the faster route. Ask and he'll tell you honestly which fits.

Which road-test centres do you cover? +

Any of them in the GTA. Lessons are based around Brampton, but wherever you've booked your G2 or G test — Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Oakville, Newmarket, Oshawa or anywhere else in the GTA — he'll drive you there and you'll use his car for the test.

Is the full hour actually spent driving? +

Yes. A one-hour lesson means a full sixty minutes of instruction — the drive to pick you up isn't counted as lesson time, and lessons aren't cut short.

Do I have to pay for all lessons upfront? +

No. You can book a single hour at a time, or save with a bundle. Payment is handled securely online when you book.

What if I'm a really nervous beginner? +

That's exactly who we love teaching. Lessons move at your pace in a calm, dual-control car, so you're always safe while you build confidence.

Can I reschedule or cancel a lesson? +

Yes. Your confirmation text and email include a link to reschedule or cancel yourself, up to 24 hours before your lesson.
